Indeed, the angel of good deeds, Song Hye-kyo.

This year, marking the 80th anniversary of Liberation, Professor Seo Kyung-duk from Sungshin Women's University and Song Hye-kyo collaborated to donate 10,000 copies of the Korean history guide to Saipan and Tinian.

The guide has been produced in both Korean and English and is donated to the Saipan World Resort, where it is available at the reception.

The main content of the guide details the forced conscription of Koreans, Korean memorials, Japanese military comfort women caves, and the atomic bomb drop site on Saipan and Tinian.

Professor Seo stated, “The preservation status of historical sites of the Republic of Korea remaining overseas is not very good.”

However, he emphasized that “the continuous interest and visits from our citizens will be the greatest strength in preserving the historical sites of the Republic of Korea remaining overseas.”

Especially in situations where visiting the site is difficult, one can download the original files from the website 'Our History Stories Encountered Overseas' for use.

This project is the first project conducted to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation. They plan to carry out two more projects this year.

For the past 14 years, with the planning of Seo Kyung-duk and the sponsorship of Song Hye-kyo, they have donated Korean guides, Korean signs, and relief sculptures of independence activists to 38 historical sites of the Republic of Korea remaining overseas.
