In '20th Century Hit Song', the No. 1 hit song that decorates the last minute of karaoke is 015B's 'Goodbye Now'.

The 257th episode of KBS Joy's '20th Century Hit Song', aired on the 21st, featured a special 5th anniversary theme titled 'Viewer PICK! Karaoke Last Minute', where exciting songs to sing when there's one minute left in karaoke were announced.

The broadcast began with a celebratory song for the 5th anniversary of '20th Century Hit Song'. While Kim Hee-chul was giving a 5th anniversary speech, Lee Mi-joo joked, prompting Kim Hee-chul to say, "Those who rolled in, stay still," and "Be grateful for being included," which drew laughter.

Ranking 10th in the last minute hit songs was Cherry Filter's 'Romantic Cat (2002)'. This song gained great popularity among the public with its unique vocal style and strong rhythm, and it was reported that "many people still consider it a popular song to sing in karaoke."

Famous for being sung during history studies, Choi Young-jun and No Sa-sa's '100 Great Figures Who Brightened Korea (1991)' ranked 9th. Lee Mi-joo reacted, "I didn't know this was sung in karaoke," while Kim Hee-chul expressed surprise, saying, "It's more surprising that there are others who sing it besides me," highlighting the generational gap. It was revealed that the person who requested this song was Kim Hee-chul's older sister, leading him to humorously respond, "My sister is someone like me."

8th place went to Insooni's 'Every Night (1983)', known for its catchy chorus, while 7th place was taken by Now & New's 'Be One (1999)', which was introduced as showcasing the best lineup of the time, including H.O.T, Fin.K.L, Kim Kyung-ho, Um Jung-hwa, Lee Sun-hee, Lee Seung-chul, Lee Seung-hwan, and Kim Hyun-jung.

6th place was occupied by Infinite's 'To You (1988)'. As the song is dubbed 'the magical song that turns the entire nation into cheerleaders', Kim Hee-chul and Lee Mi-joo showcased cheerleading choreography during the song, elevating the atmosphere. Kim Hee-chul remarked that this song was "the true ending song of Shin Hae-chul's concert," sharing an anecdote that "if it wasn't sung at the end, the audience wouldn't leave."

5th place went to Lee Moon-sae's 'Red Sunset (1988)', known as a sing-along song that no one is unfamiliar with. It was explained that the song gained attention again in 2008 with Big Bang's remake, leading to a generational intersection. Other timeless classics that transcended generations, such as Cool and Jo Jung-seok's 'Aloha' and Can and Lee Chang-seob's 'Heavenly Love', were also introduced.

Ahn Jae-wook's 'Friend (2003)' ranked 4th. Despite being released 20 years ago, it was introduced as having ranked 5th in karaoke ballad favorites in 2025, to which Kim Hee-chul humorously reacted, "Only 5th? No loyalty."

3rd place went to Crying Nut's 'Let's Run a Horse (1996)', the first Korean punk rock song, while 2nd place was taken by the 'Club Dance Medley [64900]', consisting of 'Run to You', 'On the Bus', 'Before Getting Sad', 'Tears', and 'Daze', which was noted for being able to dominate karaoke for over 10 minutes.

The No. 1 hit song for the last minute of karaoke is 015B's 'Goodbye Now (1991)', a representative farewell song and beloved graduation ending song. Lee Mi-joo mentioned that many people resonated with the scene in the drama 'Reply 1997' where Lee Si-eon chose this song as the last song in karaoke. Kim Hee-chul also showed agreement.

Although this song was originally created by the members of 015B as they prepared for a breakup, it was revealed that they continued their activities due to its unexpected success. The version remade by 015B in 2019 included the sounds of concert audiences singing along, laughter, and expressions of gratitude, providing an emotional experience.
