
The late actress Yoon So-jung has reached the 8th anniversary of her passing.
She was hospitalized for pneumonia due to a worsening cold on June 16, 2017, and suddenly developed sepsis, leading to her death at the age of 73.
Yoon So-jung debuted as a theater actress in 1961 and appeared in the film 'Are You Really That Great?' in a minor role in 1964. In the same year, she officially debuted as a talent in the first recruitment of TBC Dongyang Broadcasting.
She later worked across various mediums, including films such as 'The Noose' and 'I Love You', plays like 'Good Night, Mom', 'Steel', and 'Mother', as well as dramas such as 'Well Done', 'Alice in Cheongdam-dong', 'Goddess of Marriage', and 'Fantastic'.
Yoon So-jung's funeral was held as a national theater artist's funeral in South Korea. Her surviving family includes her husband Oh Hyun-kyung, a prominent figure in the theater community, her daughter Oh Ji-hye, an actress who has worked with the same agency as the deceased, and her son Oh Se-ho.
