Actress Han So-hee has recently gained attention for gifting laptops to 43 students in the Theater and Film Department at Seoul Arts University out of her own pocket.

According to Ilgan Sports on the 30th, Han So-hee gladly accepted a request from martial arts director Kim Min-soo, whom she met through the drama 'My Name', and conducted a week-long action workshop at Seoul Arts University last July.

At Han So-hee's suggestion, the workshop, which was originally scheduled to be held for just one day, was extended to a week. Director Kim mentioned that Han So-hee meticulously guided the students not only in basic action movements but also in emotional acting and expressions.

In particular, on the last day of class, Han So-hee gifted laptops to all 43 students out of her own funds. She had felt sorry for one student who couldn't fix or replace their broken phone and hoped that the gift would help with their studies. The total amount is reported to be around 50 million won.

The heartwarming story has come to light a year later because Han So-hee had asked the students not to disclose it to the public. However, Director Kim thought such good deeds should be widely known and revealed it later, sparking interest.

Han So-hee debuted in 2017 with SBS's 'The World of the Married' and gained recognition through her roles in 'The World of the Married' and 'Gyeongseong Creature Seasons 1 and 2'.

Han So-hee is currently set to star alongside actress Jeon Jong-seo in the upcoming film 'Project Y'. 'Project Y' is a crime drama about two women, who have nothing but each other, stealing hidden black money and gold bars to escape their harsh reality.
