‘Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo’ Kim Nam-joo wept at a surprise birthday party.
During the recent filming of SBS Life's variety show ‘Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo’ episode 3, Kim Nam-joo had a joyful time sharing sincere conversations with guest Lala.
Even after the filming ended, Kim Nam-joo and Lala continued to chat, and the production team surprised Kim Nam-joo with a birthday cake while singing a birthday song to celebrate her special day.
Kim Nam-joo exclaimed, “What is this?” in surprise and expressed her gratitude, saying, “I love that there are peonies on the cake.”
Following this, a handwritten letter from Kim Nam-joo's son was delivered. He began with, “Happy birthday, Mom,” and continued, “No matter how difficult things get, you overcome them, Mom. You have succeeded despite tough circumstances, and I always respect you as a person. You always put your children before yourself, and you spare no effort for us. I see your efforts, and I am always grateful for that.”
Upon hearing this, Kim Nam-joo broke down in tears and awkwardly said to Lala, “I’m sorry. We should have done this privately.”
Not only Kim Nam-joo's son, but also her mother sent a birthday congratulatory letter.
Kim Nam-joo's mother wrote, “You’ve worked hard. Happy birthday. I love you.” Kim Nam-joo, once again overwhelmed with emotion, showed a teary smile and said, “This is embarrassing.”
