Comedian and content production company CEO Song Eun-yi expressed her discomfort over the recent resignations of male employees.
On the 3rd, a video titled ‘A trip to Seocheon with male employees & seasonal octopus eating show’ was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Vivo TV’.
In this video, Song Eun-yi went on a volunteer trip to Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do with the male employees of her production company.
On that day, Song Eun-yi advised her manager, saying, “You need to do your role well,” to which the manager replied, “Come to think of it, I’m the only one left,” with a meaningful smile.
Song Eun-yi mentioned the two male employees who recently resigned, saying, “Why is it that every time I go on a trip with them, they quit?” The manager responded with a smile, “They probably have other dreams, right?”
Song Eun-yi then reassured herself, saying, “Yeah, it must be because they have other dreams. It’s not because of me, right?” which elicited laughter.
She then assigned a mission to her manager, saying, “Make sure to do well with the new PDs today. Have a fun trip,” to which the manager replied, “I’ll do my best.”
Song Eun-yi jokingly expressed her concern again, saying, “You’re not going to quit too, are you?” which made the scene burst into laughter once more.
Song Eun-yi debuted as a KBS special recruit comedian in 1993 and has been active in various fields for a long time. She operates Media Lab Siso and Content Lab Vivo. ‘Content Lab Vivo’ plans and produces various contents such as TV entertainment, podcasts, and web entertainment, and has even ventured into film production. Notably, in 2021, it recorded sales of 10 billion won and a net profit of 1 billion won, drawing attention.
