Hong Hyun-hee, a representative couple in the entertainment industry, revealed that she has thought about divorcing her husband Jay Seon in 10 years.
In a recent episode of the YouTube entertainment show 'Married Women's Club', Hong Hyun-hee, along with comedian Kim Mi-ryeo and influencer So Hee-jo, gathered to share their honest stories about parenting.
On that day, Hong Hyun-hee opened up about her experiences with pregnancy and childbirth. She started by saying, "I know there are people who are trying to have children, so I am cautious," and then confessed, "After being married for 5-6 years and pursuing our own interests, I thought that if we don't have kids in 10 years, we might live separately."
She continued, "Fortunately, when I had those thoughts, a child came to us, and while raising the child, I learned what a real family is."
She also mentioned, "I can't express myself to my husband Jay Seon to the point of being cold," adding, "Jay Seon even said, 'At least give me some money.' I realized I haven't learned to express much, but I am learning through the child."
Kim Mi-ryeo responded, "Honestly, we think we are raising the kids, but they really do well on their own. Parenting seems to be more about raising myself than raising the child."
She added, "Of course, I've become more angry, but I've gained so much more. Life really expands through the child."
As the warm conversation continued, Hong Hyun-hee regained her wit while talking about her son. She said, "My son Jun-beom loves colors. He knows what color it becomes when you mix colors. I think he has an aesthetic sense," and added, "When Song Hye-kyo appears on TV, he says 'She's pretty,' but when I ask, 'Am I pretty, mom?' he answers 'No,' which made everyone burst into laughter."
