The group Boi Next Door has set a record for the highest first-week sales with their mini album 'No Genre'.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 20th, Boi Next Door's 'No Genre' sold a total of 1,166,419 copies from the 13th to the 19th.
This figure is about 1.5 times higher than the first-week sales of their previous mini album '19.99' (759,156 copies). 'No Genre' surpassed 1 million copies just five days after its release, confirming Boi Next Door's explosive growth.
Boi Next Door is also continuing to sail smoothly on the music charts. The title track 'I Feel Good' landed in the upper ranks of Melon's 'Top 100' the day after its release. It is gaining popularity alongside the digital single 'I LOVE YOU Only Today', released in January this year.
The response in Japan is also enthusiastic. 'No Genre' topped the Oricon 'Daily Album Ranking' for two consecutive days (14th and 15th), and the title track 'I Feel Good' is maintaining a strong position in the top ranks of Japan's Line Music 'Daily Song Top 100'.
