Influencer Jiyoonmi (30) has taken action against a malicious commenter who created rumors about her.
On the 2nd, Jiyoonmi announced on her SNS, "I have officially submitted a criminal complaint today against A, born in 2001, who is currently on trial for drug-related charges, for violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation and insult by false facts)."
She expressed her astonishment regarding her relationship with A, stating, "I have never met them, and I don't even know if they are a real person."
She continued, "I do not know why they are spreading malicious false claims and fantasies about me, but their intentions will never be realized, and they will definitely face legal consequences for their reckless and malicious actions."
Jiyoonmi stated, "I want to clarify once again, as many people are concerned. I have never worked in an entertainment establishment, not even once. All claims related to that are 100% false, and there can be no 'evidence' to support this through any means. A has changed their story to more malicious lies, such as claiming I provided sexual services to VIPs, as they could not produce the 'evidence' they wanted."
She emphasized, "This is a serious criminal act that goes beyond mere speculation or rumors. There is only one truth. I clearly warn that I will hold criminal responsibility for all attempts to distort and amplify that truth. Separately, I am currently collecting evidence of all false facts and insulting statements being spread across various online communities and SNS. Even if it takes time, I will track down all authors and distributors and proceed with criminal complaints without exception."
Additionally, she added, "To all those who irresponsibly spread rumors like 'I saw Jiyoonmi at an entertainment establishment,' 'I heard where Jiyoonmi works,' and 'I saw Jiyoonmi,' I hope you will now confirm the weight and responsibility of those words directly with the investigative authorities and in court."
In conclusion, Jiyoonmi stated, "I have been active since I was 18, revealing my face and name, and I have never done anything to be ashamed of regarding myself or my family. Living in Seoul through my 20s, I have heard countless rumors, but I felt it was not worth responding to each one, so I remained silent. However, I will no longer let this go.
