The group Everglow has found a new home.
According to reports from Maeil Business Star Today on the 10th, Everglow has recently signed an exclusive contract with the agency Cheetah Company. However, the agreement is only with four members, while the remaining two have decided to continue their activities separately.
The four members who joined Cheetah Company plan to continue using the team name 'Everglow'.
Cheetah Company, known as a performance-focused agency, is home to the group Crezel, which placed third in JTBC's 'Phantom Singer 4'.
Everglow is also expected to showcase a new image to fans through performances rather than releasing new music this year. They are determined to reinvent themselves as performance-oriented artists through their new agency ahead of their comeback.
Previously, Everglow seemed to be on the path to disbandment when they announced the end of their contract with their former agency, Yuehua Entertainment, in May. They debuted in March 2019 and were active until 2021, but after a year-long hiatus in 2022, their activities slowed down, with only one album released in 2023-2024.
Ultimately, the members who parted ways with the agency dismissed disbandment rumors during a live broadcast at that time, hinting at new activities.
‘Everglow’ is a combination of ‘EVER’ (always) and ‘GLOW’ (to shine), meaning ‘just as there are days when the sun shines and nights when it does not, we will make both light and shadow our own time.’
