Actress Lee Da-hae revealed that her husband Seven declared a 'semi-divorce' on their wedding anniversary.
The couple met with prospective groom Kim Jun-ho, who was responsible for the wedding song at their wedding two years ago, during the SBS entertainment show 'My Ugly Duckling' aired on the 25th.
Lee Da-hae said, "We hold a party every wedding anniversary," and added, "There was something I originally wanted to buy, but he said, 'You can buy what you want, but when you're with me, you should buy something expensive.' So I bought an expensive bracelet. Even though my husband lacks details, he has a manly way of doing things, so I have no complaints."
However, there was a terrible incident on this wedding anniversary. Lee Da-hae said, "On our wedding anniversary, I had to go to China, and my husband took me to the airport. He held my hand and said, 'Honey, we've lived well for two years, and let's be happy for the next 20 years.' When I asked, 'Only 20 years?', he said, 'Is it a semi-divorce after 20 years?' I doubted my ears."
Seven responded, "It was a joke," and waved his hands vigorously. He continued, "I saw a couple who had a semi-divorce celebration recently. I was just joking about that," but Lee Da-hae retorted, "If a joke goes too far, it becomes poison."
Meanwhile, Lee Da-hae won the title of Chunhyang at the 71st National Chunhyang Selection Contest in 2001 and debuted as an actress in 2002 through MBC's 'Pure Youth Park Jong-cheol'. She rose to stardom by appearing in dramas such as 'My Girl', 'Chuno', 'Miss Ripley', and 'Iris 2', and has been active in both Korea and China since appearing in the Chinese drama 'The Best Couple' in 2016.
