Actor Sakaguchi Kentaro has won the Asia Star Award.
On the afternoon of the 2nd, the 'Seoul Drama Awards 2025' was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido. The ceremony was hosted by Jang Do-yeon and Ok Taec-yeon, and the awards were broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the Seoul Drama Awards.
On this day, Sakaguchi Kentaro received the Asia Star Award for 'After the Breakup'. He took the stage and expressed, "I am grateful to receive such an honorable award. I am putting my heart into it," and added, "I want to thank all the actors and staff, and I am also grateful to the fans who warmly support us."
MC Ok Taec-yeon asked, "What dream did you have yesterday?" and Sakaguchi Kentaro replied, "I was worried about how you would accept it. But after walking the red carpet earlier, I was happy that you welcomed me warmly."

Meanwhile, the 'Seoul Drama Awards' is an international drama festival that awards winners based on evaluations of dramas from around the world. This year, winners were selected from a total of 276 entries and 409 participants submitted from 50 countries worldwide.
