Singer and actor Kim Jaejoong confessed to being a victim of financial hacking.
On the 7th, Kim Jaejoong shared through the fan communication platform 'From' that "KakaoPay was hacked," and said, "When I called the consultation center, they transferred me to the securities consultation center. They said there was a security and incident center there, so they transferred me again. I was on the phone for an hour, but in the end, I couldn't resolve it and had to hang up due to work."
He continued, "I was informed that if I don't know the password, I can't delete the account. But since I was hacked and the password was changed, how am I supposed to know the password?"
Additionally, Kim Jaejoong said, "They said they would introduce me to another consultant because it wasn't resolved, and when I asked which department, it turned out to be the very first consultation department I spoke to," and confessed, "My mental state has completely broken down."
He pointed out, "I know the consultants are having a hard time, but this response is really too inadequate. Does the person who has been hacked need to know the password changed by the hacker?"
Two days later, he announced, "It took a day and a half, but I finally canceled my account," adding, "It was truly a frightening day."
Kim Jaejoong will release his EP album 'Beauty in Chaos' on the 19th.
