Singer and broadcaster Lee Sang-min (51) is reported to be remarrying.
According to Xports News on the 30th, Lee Sang-min is currently secretly preparing for marriage with a younger non-celebrity partner.
Reports indicate that Lee Sang-min and his partner have been enjoying a good relationship until recently and have promised to tie the knot, cautiously preparing for the wedding. The wedding is expected to take place around early summer, which is earlier than the wedding of comedian couple Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min scheduled for July.
Recently, Lee Sang-min has expressed a strong desire for remarriage, revealing that his annual salary exceeds 1 billion won on various broadcasts and sharing his ideal type.
Previously, Lee Sang-min married singer-turned-broadcaster Lee Hye-young in 2004 but divorced the following year. If the reports are true, he will be starting a new family 20 years after his divorce.
Born in 1973, Lee Sang-min debuted in 1994 as a member of the mixed group Roola. From the late 1990s, he transformed into a producer, establishing 'Sang Mind' and achieving success with artists like Shakra, S#ARP, and Country Kko Kko, becoming a top producer in the early 2000s.
However, after experiencing repeated failures and crises, he transformed into a businessman but incurred a debt of 6.9 billion won due to bankruptcy in November 2005. After that, he faced various controversies for operating gambling sites and facilitating illegal loans for 6-7 years, but made a spectacular comeback in 2012 as a music deity. He is currently active as an MC and entertainer on various TV programs, including SBS's 'Shoe Off, Dolsing For Men', 'My Little Old Boy', JTBC's 'Knowing Bros', MBN's 'Altoran', and KBS Joy's 'Man Running the Charts'.
