Taek Jin Ah expressed his heavy heart after losing his close friend, the late Song Dae Kwan.
On the 21st, a video titled 'Taek Jin Ah's First Confession After the Passing of Song Dae Kwan' was posted on No Joo Hyun's YouTube channel.
No Joo Hyun comforted Taek Jin Ah by saying, "You did well. I thought to myself, 'Taek Jin Ah is great.' It's true. It's not easy to do that," to which Taek Jin Ah replied, "I couldn't eat for 5 days and only drank alcohol. After 5 days, I started to gather myself and eat."
Taek Jin Ah continued, "On Parents' Day in May, I suggested we do a 'Dinner Show' together. I was preparing the cue sheet and then the next morning I woke up to find out he had passed away. I woke up late that day, and the company called me saying that senior Song Dae Kwan had passed away," conveying the shock he felt at that time.
Taek Jin Ah mentioned, "We didn't really talk about our health issues. I heard he had surgery for bile duct cancer a long time ago," and added, "That day was supposed to be the day of the dinner show, and I heard that if you go to a warm country, you heal faster. I thought, 'Then you should go, why worry?' I gave him some money. He told me not to say he received money from me, but then he appeared on 'Radio Star' and said Taek Jin Ah gave him several million won to rest well. After that, he didn't mention that he was feeling unwell."
He went on to say, "The important thing is stress. He lost all that wealth, so I think stress might be a cause. Don't doctors say that all diseases are caused by stress?" expressing his regret.
Song Dae Kwan passed away on the 7th at the age of 78. He was transferred to the emergency room of Seoul National University Hospital due to health issues and was receiving treatment but ultimately passed away. The cause of death is reported to be a heart attack.
