Actress Jo Yu-ri, who appeared in the second season of 'Squid Game', is taking legal action against online trolls.
Her agency, Wake One, stated on the 13th, "We are seriously aware that malicious defamation, slander, personal attacks, and the spread of false information against Jo Yu-ri are indiscriminately spreading online and on social media," and added, "We plan to respond strongly."
Jo Yu-ri explained, "Accordingly, we are continuously monitoring major domestic and international channels such as YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and various online communities," and "We are continuously collecting relevant materials for legal action against illegal activities that harm the artist's honor and safety."
She also added, "We will take all possible legal measures against these actions and respond strongly," and "Active reports from fans are a great help."
Jo Yu-ri debuted in 2018 as a member of the group IZ*ONE, and after the group's disbandment, she made her solo debut in 2021. She began her acting career in the 2022 web drama 'Mimicus' and gained attention for her appearance in the 2024 Netflix original series 'Squid Game' Season 2.
