A hilarious still of Oh Na-ra and Seo Hyun-cheol from ‘The Land of Villains’ has been released.
The new KBS2 sitcom ‘The Land of Villains’ (directed by Kim Young-jo and Choi Jeong-eun, written by Chae Woo and Park Kwang-yeon), which is set to premiere in March, is a situational comedy-drama that captures the sometimes rough yet warm daily lives of K-Zoomma sisters and their quirky families.
In the drama, Oh Na-ra plays the role of a dictatorial housewife and Seo Hyun-cheol's wife, Oh Na-ra. With a fiery past, Na-ra decides to keep her romantic history a secret for the sake of Hyun-cheol's mental health, who is rigid and conservative. Seo Hyun-cheol, who works as a manager in a large corporation's planning team, suddenly collapses on the street while complaining of pain. He is diagnosed with panic disorder by a doctor and begins to track down the villain tormenting him.
The released stills capture the chaotic chemistry between Oh Na-ra and Seo Hyun-cheol. Na-ra, holding a microphone, exudes charm, while Hyun-cheol's attempts to dissuade his wife elicit laughter. The couple's realistic interactions are sure to bring a smile to viewers' faces.
Hyun-cheol, with a bandage wrapped around his head, awkwardly smiles while keeping an eye on Na-ra, adding to the sympathy. While Na-ra is seen looking at her phone late into the night, Hyun-cheol, unable to sleep beside her, evokes a sense of pity. The contrasting moments between the couple are expected to make the drama exciting.
