Comedian Shim Hyun-seop is finally getting married. He met his girlfriend Young-rim's parents and received their approval for marriage.
On the 20th, during the broadcast of TV Chosun's ‘Joseon's Love Fool’, the process of Shim Hyun-seop receiving marriage approval from his girlfriend's parents was revealed.
Shim Hyun-seop said, "I plan to take Young-rim's parents to a restaurant in my car," and shared his plans for both personal grooming and "car grooming." After that, he left home with a solemn farewell to the photo of his late mother, saying, "I’m going to get my marriage approval as the youngest son."
He headed to a car wash, where the 'drinking accomplice duo' Kwon Deok-ho & Kim Cheol-hwan, who had briefly caused a crisis between Shim Hyun-seop and Young-rim, made a surprise appearance. They helped wash Shim Hyun-seop's car with a sense of atonement, and with the encouragement of his younger siblings, Shim Hyun-seop gained confidence and set off to meet his girlfriend's parents.
However, when he actually met his girlfriend's parents, Shim Hyun-seop seemed nervous and stumbled over his words, barely managing to say, "Father, Mother... you look really wonderful today."
