The group TripleS won the Wonder K Global Icon Award at ‘MMA 2024’.
The ‘2024 Melon Music Awards’ (MELON MUSIC AWARDS, hereinafter MMA 2024) took place on the afternoon of the 30th at Incheon Inspire Arena.
TripleS is an idol group consisting of 24 members. On this day, the 16 members who attended expressed, “Thank you for this valuable award. We have been here since 2 AM today with our teachers. We miss the members who are not here due to our activities in Japan, and we congratulate them.”
They added, “This is our first time as idols in this life, and we felt that our songs bring hope and comfort to many people. Please continue to support us in the future.”
Meanwhile, ‘MMA 2024’ features numerous artists including ATEEZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, PLAYB, RISE, TO1, (G)I-DLE, IVE, aespa, TripleS, QWER, BIBI, Lee Young-ji, and pop star Christopher. In South Korea, it can be viewed on the Melon app/web and Melon YouTube channel, while in Japan, it will be broadcast live on U-NEXT.
