Lee Hee-cheol (40), a CEO in the food industry and YouTuber, has suddenly passed away, and his brother has requested a tribute.
On the 8th, a post from Lee Hee-cheol's brother appeared on his Instagram, stating, “Hello, this is Hee-cheol's younger brother.”
His brother announced the sad news, saying, “Our brother, who was always full of energy and love, suddenly left for a long journey to the heavenly realm on the 7th due to unexpected pain.” He added, “Our brother, who always cherished and prioritized those around him as much as family, appeared strong but was more sensitive than anyone. Please be with him so that his last journey, which he loved the most among many people, is not lonely and is a bit more beautiful.”
Lee Hee-cheol's funeral is being held at the Soonchunhyang University Hospital funeral hall. The funeral will take place at 5 AM on the 10th, and the burial site is in Suwon City.
The news of Lee Hee-cheol's passing was shared on the 7th when singer Pungja posted on social media. Pungja wrote, “My beloved brother Lee Hee-cheol from Seoul Salon has become a star in the sky today,” adding, “I can’t believe it as I write this, but I leave this message for those who loved him and for friends who have not yet heard the news. Please pray that he goes to a good place.”
Lee Hee-cheol, a former photographer, operated the famous wine bar Seoul Salon in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. He gained recognition after appearing in KBS2's “The Men Who Live with Housekeeping” Season 2 last year and also ran a YouTube channel. He also worked as the visual director for the girl group CLASSY.
