Actors Lee Gyu-han and Han Jae-yi received the Best Performance Award at the ‘2024 SBS Acting Awards’.
On the 21st at 8:35 PM, the ‘2024 SBS Acting Awards’ took place at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, hosted by Shin Dong-yeop, Kim Hye-yoon, and Kim Ji-yeon.
On this day, Lee Gyu-han said, “I am grateful to be able to show filial piety like this. I believe this award is not just because of my efforts, but because of the director and many staff members, as well as the outstanding performances of actress Park Shin-hye, which helped create a great villain role. I have always climbed the stairs more slowly than others. I am constantly inspired by my colleagues' performances and think I will work harder in my acting. I believe this award is given to encourage me to endure even better in the future.”
Han Jae-yi continued, “When I took on the role of the mistress, I fought endlessly with myself. I think I raised many people's blood pressure, even leading to treatment for low blood pressure. Sometimes I felt self-doubt, but it was a time of great learning and growth. I am grateful to the writer for giving me a short but intense role. I also want to express my gratitude to the director for choosing me.”
Meanwhile, the ‘2024 SBS Acting Awards’ is a ceremony that summarizes this year's SBS dramas, including ‘Chaebol X Detective’, ‘Revival of the Seven’, ‘Connection’, ‘Good Partner’, ‘Judge from Hell’, and ‘Hot Blooded Priest 2’. The candidates for the Grand Prize include Ahn Bo-hyun, Hwang Jung-eum, Ji Sung, Jang Na-ra, Park Shin-hye, and Kim Nam-gil.
