‘Baseball Legend’ Yang Jun-hyuk (55) has made 2024 the best year of his life by celebrating the joy of becoming a father and receiving the ‘10 People Who Shine in Korea’ award.
On the 23rd, Yang Jun-hyuk was selected as the awardee in the sports contribution category at the ‘13th 10 People Who Shine in Korea’ event held at the Eliana Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul.
He was recognized for his efforts to promote youth baseball, including hosting the ‘Hope Plus Charity Baseball Tournament’ for the 12th consecutive year through the Yang Jun-hyuk Sports Foundation, where he serves as chairman.
In addition to being known as a baseball legend, Yang Jun-hyuk has garnered great love by showcasing a new charm. He has attracted attention as a successful businessman and gained popularity through the SBS variety show ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams’ with stories about his wife, Park Hyun-sun. On the 11th, he welcomed his first daughter, receiving much support and congratulations.
Through his agency, Yang Jun-hyuk expressed, “I am honored to attend such a meaningful event and receive a good award. This year is special for me as my daughter was born, and I am happy to end the year on a good note with this award.
