Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube share candid stories at Imokase, a holy place for the MZ generation in Busan.
In the 9th episode of the reality street food documentary ‘Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2’ (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), which airs tonight at 9:10 PM, Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin), a ‘Busan person’, will unfold his ‘Kwak Jun-bin Plan’, revealing Jeon Hyun-moo’s candid stories at the Gyeongsang-do style Imokase, which is popular among the MZ generation in Busan.
Kwak Tube states, “The last hidden gem in Busan is Imokase, which the MZ generation is crazy about. It is famous for sourcing fresh ingredients every morning from Jagalchi Market and serving fresh food daily.”
The two pour soju after a long time, and Jeon Hyun-moo pours soju for Kwak Tube, advising him, “Don’t make mistakes in the future.”
The ‘mistakes’ mentioned by Jeon Hyun-moo are interpreted as referring to the controversy that arose when he defended I-naeun from April last September. I-naeun was embroiled in allegations of bullying against former member Lee Hyun-joo in 2021. At that time, the agency DSP Media sued Lee Hyun-joo for defamation due to false facts, but she was acquitted of all charges.
At that time, Kwak Tube defended I-naeun, who was cleared of school violence allegations, but viewers criticized him regarding the April bullying incident. In response, Kwak Tube issued two apologies and bowed his head.
As they enjoy delicious drinks, Jeon Hyun-moo jokes, “I’m not going home today,” and Kwak Tube asks, “Don’t you have a schedule tomorrow? I’m curious how much you rest.”
Jeon Hyun-moo takes out his phone to check his schedule and says, “I’m off tomorrow. I decided to travel on my day off. I want to spend my time even if I’m sleepy and have to slap my cheeks.”
As the serious conversation deepens, Kwak Tube asks, “Are you anxious if you take a long break?” and “What if the ratings for the new program don’t come out or it ends early?”
Jeon Hyun-moo replies, “It’s stressful,” and then shares his own way of relieving stress.
