‘Hanblee’ sheds light on a fatal accident caused by reckless overtaking and wrong-way driving.
Tonight (10th), the South Korea Traffic Accident Zero Challenge JTBC ‘Han Moon-cheol’s Black Box Review’ (hereinafter ‘Hanblee’) will highlight a terrifying wrong-way driving accident.
In the black box footage released that day, a vehicle is seen attempting a reckless overtaking maneuver on a two-lane road. The vehicle continues to attempt wrong-way overtaking and ultimately collides with an oncoming bicycle. The panelists are shocked to learn that the cyclist lost their life in this accident.
The ‘Hanblee’ production team interviews the victim's family to hear the details of the incident. The victim's family member states, “The lead cyclist, upon spotting the wrong-way vehicle, urgently reduced speed, and the victim, following behind, was involved in a collision with the front bicycle,” recounting the situation at the time. Jonathan, who usually claims to be a riding enthusiast, expresses regret, saying, “The rider did nothing wrong, such as not wearing a helmet,” while lawyer Han Moon-cheol emphasizes the dangers of wrong-way driving, stating, “This is a typical accident that shows why wrong-way overtaking should not be done.”
Additionally, ‘Hanblee’ will reveal a shocking incident that occurred in a parking lot. The released black box footage shows a man in pajamas ruthlessly damaging someone else's vehicle with a wrench. The panelists are horrified by the shocking scene where the man damages the entire exterior of the vehicle, including the front and rear windows and the hood, with the wrench. Furthermore, in response to the perpetrator's absurd claim, “I thought it was my car because I was drunk,” Park Mi-sun expresses disbelief, saying, “I really can’t believe the kind of people we see,” while Kyuhyun expresses anger, saying, “How can there be such a person?”
Meanwhile, the broadcast features comedian Jung Seong-ho, known as the ‘self-proclaimed human copier,’ and ‘MZ trend’ actor Yoon Ga-i. In particular, Jung Seong-ho surprises everyone with his 100% synchronized impersonation of lawyer Han Moon-cheol, while Yoon Ga-i impresses with his perfect recreation of 90s Seoul dialect.
