The band QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Siyun, Hina) has revealed the status of their legal actions against malicious comments and illegal posts.
On the 18th, QWER's agency, Three Y Corporation, announced through their official fan cafe, "We are informing you about the progress of legal actions regarding malicious posts related to QWER."
The agency disclosed that they have filed a total of 115 criminal complaints for malicious posts, including violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (obscenity using communication media, editing and distributing false videos, etc.) on two occasions in 2024 and once in June 2025.

The agency stated, "As of July 2025, each case has been transferred to local police stations, and the prosecution and sentencing procedures are ongoing. Due to the seriousness of the cases, recent guilty verdicts and fines have been imposed," and emphasized, "We are responding strongly without any settlements or leniency to protect our artists. We will hold accountable anyone responsible for malicious and illegal posts directed at our artists without exception."
Finally, the agency conveyed, "We will continue to do our best to protect our artists through thorough monitoring, verification of reports, and ongoing responses."
Despite gaining popularity with hit songs like 'Addicted to Worry', 'My Name is Clear', and 'Holding Back Tears', QWER has consistently faced malicious comments since their debut, suffering from issues such as being labeled as 'former internet broadcasters' and 'hand-sync controversies'. In response, the agency filed their first complaint last year after receiving over 250 reports related to the spread of false information and defamation.
Recently, they have faced controversy over the design of their light stick revealed during their first world tour 'ROCKATION', which was pointed out to be similar to the light stick of the boy group 'The Boyz'. Despite the controversy, they are set to embark on their first world tour, covering North America and Asia, starting with performances at the Olympic Park Ticketlink Live Arena in Seoul from October 3 to 5.
