Actress Moon So-ri revealed an episode about her husband, director Jang Jun-hwan, before their marriage.
On the 18th, the tvN STORY entertainment program ‘Couples Next Door’ aired a segment showing Moon So-ri attending the Da Nang Asian Film Festival with her husband.
On that day, while preparing for the film festival, a staff member commented, “It’s enviable to see how stable you are when you talk to the director,” to which Moon So-ri replied, “Marriage is far from being stable,” adding, “How can having and raising children be anything but uncertain?”
In response, the staff asked, “Isn’t he emotionally your perfect match?” and Moon So-ri said, “There are many times when he’s not on my side,” and remarked, “Marriage is really a gamble,” drawing attention. She added, “How do you know if you’re compatible with that person? Usually, it seems like people get married without really knowing.”
Moon So-ri and her husband got married after a year of dating. She added, “Fortunately, we match well, but what if we didn’t?”
Moon So-ri also mentioned Jang Jun-hwan’s kindness as one of his strengths, but humorously noted, “Before our marriage, he was not just kind to me but to everyone, which sometimes bothered me a bit.”
She recalled, “We had even set a date for our wedding, but then his ex-girlfriend called. He was very polite during the conversation, saying, ‘I hope you live well and succeed, let’s meet again next time.’ Why would you promise to meet again after breaking up?”
