The girl group VVS delivered a passionate performance for their first stage after the addition of new member Lena.
VVS was responsible for the opening stage on the first day of the '2025 Sookmyung Women's University Festival - Seonmyeonggye'. Despite heavy rain, they thrilled the audience, making it hard to believe they are a newly debuted girl group. As VVS is set to embark on full-scale global activities as a complete group, this moment will be remembered as a significant starting point.
Lena was the final piece of the puzzle for VVS. With outstanding abilities in vocals, rapping, refined visuals, and entertainment skills, she was known as a 'hexagonal' player even among trainees. Given that VVS is being evaluated as a K-pop group with a new texture, it hinted at the best synergy.
Such abilities were clearly demonstrated from the first stage. They showcased all tracks from their first mini-album, including their debut song 'TEA', 'Fact$', 'Purrfect', 'D.I.M.M', and 'Touch It', in a live performance. They shook the audience with a total of 7 songs, including a newly approached stage of 4Minute's 'Hot Issue' and iKON's 'Love Scenario', capturing attention with their energetic stage presence.
The agency MZMC stated, "With Lena's addition, VVS's musical spectrum will expand even further," and added, "We plan to strengthen our connection with global music fans through various stages and content in the future."
VVS, which debuted with the single 'TEA' in April, made a strong impact by releasing their mini-album 'D.I.M.M' just a month later. They garnered attention as the first K-pop girl group produced by MZMC's representative and American producer Paul Brian Thompson. Along with Lena, members Britney, Aily, Lana, Jiwoo, and Liwon captivated music fans with a concept that boldly breaks away from beauty standards, despite being a girl group.
