Rosé is continuously setting unprecedented records with ‘APT.’

On the 18th, The Black Label announced that the music video for ‘APT.’ (Apartment), a duet by Rosé and Bruno Mars, has surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube. This achievement comes approximately 335 days after its pre-release on October 18 of last year, making Rosé the holder of the shortest record in K-Pop.

Additionally, Rosé now has another music video with 2 billion views, following BLACKPINK's ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ and ‘Kill This Love’. She is the first and only K-Pop artist to have 2 billion view music videos both as a group and as a solo artist.

‘APT.’ is a pre-release single from Rosé's first full album ‘rosie’, released on December 6 of last year, which generated explosive reactions upon its release and created a syndrome. The duet between Rosé and Bruno Mars, two global artists, made ‘APT.’ even more of a topic, dominating the top charts both domestically and internationally, showcasing a grand unification of the global music market.

Since its release, ‘APT.’ has swept the world and has shown a ‘reverse run’ graph on the Billboard charts, which had been swept by the Christmas carol craze. Rosé, who has set unprecedented box office records, was also named in Time magazine's ‘100 Most Influential People in the World in 2025’, demonstrating her status as the protagonist of the syndrome.

Moreover, ‘APT.’ won the Song of the Year award at the ‘2025 MTV Video Music Awards’ held at the UBS Arena in New York on the 7th (local time), becoming the first K-Pop artist to achieve this honor, marking a significant milestone in the global music market.

Meanwhile, Rosé is currently on a world tour, having kicked off BLACKPINK's solo concert ‘DEADLINE’ at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5 and 6.
