HYBE has stated its position regarding the decision of non-indictment for former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin on charges of breach of duty.
On the 15th, HYBE officially announced, "We plan to file an objection with the prosecutors today regarding the non-indictment decision on the breach of duty case raised against former CEO Min Hee-jin and others last year."
HYBE explained, "After the police investigation, new situations arose, such as the declaration of contract termination by NewJeans members, and numerous new pieces of evidence were submitted in the related trial. Based on this, the court has judged former CEO Min's actions very seriously. The court of the provisional injunction appeal (Seoul High Court) determined that former CEO Min is 'in a position that intentionally destroys the integrated structure that is the premise of the exclusive contract,' and we intend to contest the non-indictment decision in the objection process."

Furthermore, "The case in which former CEO Min Hee-jin and others filed a complaint against five HYBE executives for obstruction of business and violation of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation) last July was also decided by the investigative authorities as non-indictment. The authorities judged that HYBE's claims were 'difficult to view as false facts,' 'not recognized as defamatory since it concerns public interest,' and 'the KakaoTalk conversations were obtained with legal authority during the audit process,'" they emphasized. "Additionally, we inform you that all indiscriminate complaints and accusations made by former CEO Min against HYBE and its affiliated employees have also concluded with non-indictment."
Finally, HYBE stated, "The cases in which former CEO Min Hee-jin reported the management and creative directors of Belift Lab for defamation and false accusations, the case in which Team Bunnies reported the management of Belift Lab for violation of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation), and the case in which Shin Woo-seok, representative of the Dolphin Kidnapping Group, filed a complaint against the current management of ADOR for violation of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation) have all been concluded as non-indictment or dismissed."
Meanwhile, on the same day, former CEO Min Hee-jin's side stated in an official position, "In April last year, HYBE reported former CEO Min Hee-jin for breach of duty. After more than a year of police investigation, it has been confirmed that there is no illegality on the part of former CEO Min regarding the charges, and today (July 15), we inform you that both cases reported by HYBE have been decided as 'no charges' and non-indictment."
