Ko So-young shared an episode that is close to being a ‘helicopter mom’.
In the second episode of MBN’s ‘Oh Eun-young Stay’ aired on the 30th, a story was introduced about a participant who still observes a curfew at the age of forty.
In response, Ko So-young cautiously shared her own experience, saying, “I can understand the mother’s perspective.”

Ko So-young revealed, “I also had a strong belief that ‘I need to protect my child,’ so I stopped all the after-school classes. I thought, ‘What’s the importance of studying? Stay at home,’” and added, “There were times when my son said he was going to a PC room, and I waited in the car. I was on standby because I didn’t know when he would call me.”

Her honest confession resonated with the audience, reflecting the realistic concerns of being a parent while also showing her affection for her child. The other participants in the studio responded warmly with laughter.

Ko So-young married actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010 and has one son and one daughter. She continues to balance her broadcasting activities and parenting. ‘Oh Eun-young Stay’ airs every Monday at 9:10 PM.
