Singer Kang Daniel delivered a special message to his fans ahead of his enlistment. The way he chose to convey this message was through his sixth mini album.
On the afternoon of the 16th, at a press conference for his mini album 'Glow to Haze' held at Park One Tower 2 in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Kang Daniel stated, “It has been decided that I will enlist in the second half of this year.” He continued, “Actually, I had planned to go earlier, but I wanted to show as many meaningful activities as possible before I go,” expressing the special feelings he has for this album.
'Glow to Haze' serves as a kind of emotional diary from Kang Daniel. It consists of five tracks that depict moments of brilliance and gradually fading emotions, unfolding like a movie.
The title track 'Episode' is included along with 'Movie Star', 'Love Game', 'One Call Away', and 'Little Bit Lost', totaling five songs, with Kang Daniel personally participating in the lyrics of four of them.
This album holds significance beyond just a simple comeback. It is a message he conveys before enlisting, and a record that captures his true emotions and sentiments. Kang Daniel stated, “I am preparing for follow-up activities after the album,” adding, “I want to share a little more time with my fans.”
At this important turning point of enlistment, Kang Daniel continues to seek answers on stage as always. At the event where he announced his enlistment in the second half of the year, he once again showcased the strongest presence as 'Kang Daniel on stage'.
