The group Ailit (ILLIT) invites GLLIT (the fandom name) to a space where they can enjoy their new album in a more special way.
On the 11th, the agency Belift Lab announced through the global superfan platform Weverse, "Ailit (Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha) will hold a 'Friend's Night POP-UP & PICNIC' to celebrate the release of their mini album 'bomb'."
'Friend's Night' is a special event where fans can experience Ailit's music and emotions in a unique way. Last September, ahead of the release of their mini album 'I'LL LIKE YOU', they held a party in Paris, France, where they revealed some of their new music and received global acclaim. This event, which has expanded its target audience, is expected to be a special time inviting major fashion magazines, digital creators, and fans.
First, the 'Friend's Night POP-UP' will be held for four days from the 13th to the 16th at MOTH in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The popup will feature a Melon listening zone where fans can hear the highlight of the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' for the first time, a photo zone where fans can take commemorative photos in a magical girl's room, and a DIY experience zone where fans can create their own pouches with various items reminiscent of 'bomb'. Additionally, there will be an SNS event where fans can find hidden cats throughout the popup and receive an invitation to the 'Friend's Night Picnic' by posting on social media.
The 'Friend's Night Picnic' will take place on the 17th, the day after the comeback, at the outdoor stage of Yebit Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Ailit will premiere the stage for the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' and have a time to interact with fans. Various booths will also be operated before and after the performance, allowing fans to enjoy a 'night picnic' atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Ailit is heating up the comeback excitement by releasing various content ahead of their new album release on the 16th. Starting with the 'GLLIT' version on the 8th, the concept photos and films for the 'PINK BOMB' and 'STAR BOMB' versions have received explosive reactions with Ailit's unique visuals. The final version, 'MAGIC BOMB' concept teasing, film, and photos will be released today (11th) and tomorrow (12th).
