Miyawo expressed her feelings about achieving their first number one and her expectations for the comeback.
On the afternoon of the 12th, a media showcase for Miyawo (MEOVV)'s first EP 'MY EYES OPEN VVIDE' was held at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Regarding their earlier pre-release track 'HANDS UP', which topped the music charts, Narin said, "I am really happy that everyone liked 'HANDS UP', which we prepared with a lot of love and hard work. It is even more meaningful to achieve number one with a song that conveys our determination to boldly move forward on our own path, and I am grateful to our fans."
Gawon shared her feelings ahead of the comeback, saying, "One of our goals as a team is to express ourselves in a 'Miyawo way', so I am even more excited and looking forward to this activity. I hope everyone enjoys the performances we show."
Anna stated, "The three new songs released this time are tracks we prepared since our trainee days. I am happy to come back with songs filled with love. I hope the new songs will be loved a lot as well," while Ella expressed, "We had a really busy time preparing for this album. I learned a lot about myself while filming and discovered how to do well. I think I will be able to show my potential through this activity."
Narin mentioned, "This comeback has many first-time challenges, and I feel like I discovered new aspects of myself. I think it will be memorable and dear to me. I am looking forward to showing various music and charms. Since there will be many opportunities to meet our fans, I want to get closer to them," while Suin added, "This time, we are continuing our activities in a much more diverse way. I am happy and excited to be able to see our fans much more often."
The title track 'DROP TOP' from Miyawo's first EP 'MY EYES OPEN VVIDE', which captures their perspective and inner diversity, combines calmness and liveliness, presenting a sensory portrayal of moving towards the world with their unique viewpoint. It will be released today (12th) at 6 PM.
