On this day, Son Yeon-jae treated her friends to young radish kimchi mackerel stew, young radish kimchi pancakes, and spicy grilled pork. While chatting with her friends, Son Yeon-jae drew attention by referring to the matchmaker who introduced her to her husband as "the benefactor who got me married."
The matchmaker said, "I like Son Yeon-jae as a younger sister, and her husband is a close senior of my husband. He treats me well and is also good to my son, so I thought, 'I hope that guy marries a good woman.'
Son Yeon-jae said, "My husband and I were both hesitant. My sister said, 'You should definitely meet.' I couldn't be proactive, and my husband couldn't either, but my sister said, 'You two should contact each other and meet again soon.'
The matchmaker added, "The next day, I asked Son Yeon-jae's husband, 'Did you contact her?' and he said he hadn't. I asked, 'Why on earth not?'
Son Yeon-jae laughed and said, "My husband thought I was young and was worried that I might not be thinking about marriage. I waited."
