‘Entertainment Grandmother’ Lee Young-ja and Kim Sook transform into riders delivering celebrities' favorite restaurants directly.
KBS2's “Delivery Has Arrived,” which premieres on the 15th, is a new concept ‘delivery talk entertainment’ where MCs deliver the favorite restaurant menus ordered by stars and engage in cheerful dining talks. As the main copy states, “If it’s delicious, it’s 0 calories; if it’s fun, it’s 0 won!” unique talk devices will be added to elicit unfiltered conversations from the stars.
The first episode's highlight is whether the mukbang grandmother Lee Young-ja and Kim Sook can successfully carry out their delivery mission. Lee Young-ja, who confidently states, “I started delivering at the age of 10,” raises curiosity about whether they can complete the delivery safely.
When a delivery order text arrives on Kim Sook's phone, Lee Young-ja, who was looking at the phone together, says, “Oh, you’re in contact with Yoon Jung-soo,” surprising Kim Sook. Following that, she receives advice from Young-ja, “Don’t contact in front of a new bride!” which amplifies curiosity about their ongoing love line (?).
Later, at the restaurant they visit for the delivery pickup, the owner unexpectedly asks, “Did you come to eat?” which catches them off guard. Ultimately, forgetting their main duty, Lee Young-ja succumbs to the temptation of food while Kim Sook tries to stop her. The bickering chemistry between the two is expected to be a source of laughter.
The glamorous guest lineup in the first episode also catches the eye, featuring national actors ‘Hwang Jung-min, Jung Sung-hwa, and Jung Sang-hoon.’ Despite it being their first filming, they reportedly showcased their dazzling wit, boasting a close friendship with the MCs.
The Michelin-level plating of the two MCs, which can only be seen on “Delivery Has Arrived,” is another unique point of the program.
