Singer Lim Young-woong has wrapped up his island life with his close friends.

In the episode aired on the 16th, SBS’s ‘Island Bachelor Hero’ depicted Lim Young-woong and his close friends preparing for an unprecedented gratitude project.

On this day, Lim Young-woong, Kweedo, Lim Tae-hoon, and Heo Kyung-hwan prepared a village festival for the residents of Somodo. Kweedo and Lim Tae-hoon took a boat to Wando to shop, while Lim Young-woong and Heo Kyung-hwan stayed home to prepare the ingredients.

After Kweedo and Lim Tae-hoon returned, the cooking began in earnest. The menu included Jajangmyeon, Yurin-gi, and Mapo Tofu. Despite his clumsy knife skills, Lim Young-woong did his best to prepare the ingredients. He even caught attention by handling the wok.

Once Lim Young-woong, Kweedo, Lim Tae-hoon, and Heo Kyung-hwan finished cooking, the residents gathered together. The residents tasted the food prepared by the four and praised it, saying, “There are days like this in the world,” and “The skills of professionals are indeed different. It’s really delicious.”

Lim Young-woong also held an island concert for the residents. He captivated their hearts by passionately singing ‘Man of the Harbor’ and ‘Mother’s Song’. As the residents called for an encore, Lim Young-woong jokingly said, “If you want, I will keep singing until it gets dark.”

Having concluded his island life, Lim Young-woong expressed, “Kweedo is someone who makes me special. Lim Tae-hoon is someone who makes me ordinary. Both are good friends. That’s why it seems like I’ve been seeing them for a long time. Having good friends by my side is the greatest healing.”

In particular, at the end of the broadcast, a subtitle read, “When you start to miss your hometown, the island bachelor will come to visit,” raising expectations for Season 2.
