Actress Kim Da-mi expressed her affection for her close friend Shin Ye-eun.
On the afternoon of the 11th, the press conference for JTBC's weekend drama "Memories of a Hundred Times" (written by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Bo-ram, directed by Kim Sang-ho) was held at The Link Hotel in Sindorim, Seoul. Attendees included Kim Da-mi, Shin Ye-eun, Heo Nam-jun, and director Kim Sang-ho.
"Memories of a Hundred Times," which will premiere on the 13th at 10:40 PM, is a newtro youth melodrama that depicts the shining friendship of 1980s bus guide Ko Young-rye (played by Kim Da-mi) and Seo Jong-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun), as well as their poignant first love surrounding their fateful man Han Jae-pil (played by Heo Nam-jun).
The script is by Yang Hee-seung, known for trendy works like "Crash Course in Romance," "Once Again," "My Fellow Citizens," "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo," and "Oh My Ghost," and the director is Kim Sang-ho, who directed "Thirty, Nine."
Kim Da-mi commented on Shin Ye-eun, who plays her best friend Seo Jong-hee, saying, "Since I'm not an outgoing person, we initially felt each other's atmosphere and gradually became close." She continued, "Rather than thinking we should become friends, I felt our hearts connecting more deeply as we acted together. That's how we breathed together."
Kim Da-mi also praised Shin Ye-eun, saying, "On set, I felt that Ye-eun is a friend with a passion for acting. I learned a lot from watching her. It was wonderful how she didn't take any scene lightly."
"Memories of a Hundred Times" is set to premiere on the 13th at 10:40 PM.
