Following Jung Il-woo's sudden wedding cancellation, the stage is set for intense father-son conflicts and a love triangle.
In the 6th episode of KBS2's weekend drama ‘Glamorous Days’ (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by So Hyun-kyung), the conflict escalated as Lee Sang-cheol (played by Chun Ho-jin) and Lee Ji-hyuk (played by Jung Il-woo) clashed after learning the truth about the marriage. The viewership rating reached 15.6% (based on Nielsen Korea nationwide), setting a new record for the show. It ranked first in overall broadcasting.
During the broadcast, the bride, Jeong Bo-ah (played by Go Won-hee), suddenly disappeared, turning the wedding venue into chaos. Park Sung-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min) hurriedly took the shocked Ji-hyuk out, while Lee Soo-bin (played by Shin Soo-hyun) and Lee Ji-wan (played by Son Sang-yeon) tried to manage the situation, comforting the stunned family members.
Back home, Ji-hyuk eventually revealed everything to Sang-cheol and Kim Da-jung (played by Kim Hee-jung). Sang-cheol was furious to learn that the marriage was based on necessity rather than love, and Ji-hyuk exploded with emotions, saying, “Don’t tell me to live like a father. You don’t understand our generation.” Their confrontation ultimately led to a tragic outcome. Ji-hyuk left home, and while Sang-cheol turned his back on his son, he was seen drinking alone, shedding tears of sorrow.
As Ji-hyuk's story circulated among the club members, Jin Eun-oh (played by Jung In-sun) could not hide her discomfort. When Sung-jae, who arrived late, tried to explain the situation, Eun-oh coldly responded, “I don’t want to hear anything about Lee Ji-hyuk from my friends,” and Sung-jae left with a bitter expression.
After leaving home, Ji-hyuk started doing hard labor at a labor agency but collapsed from overexertion. Sung-jae, who found out about this, came to see him but, contrary to Ji-hyuk's expectations, did not try to stop him and left. However, Ji-hyuk discovered a check that Sung-jae had secretly placed in his pocket, which fueled his anger over his shattered pride.
Sung-jae is asked by Soo-bin to appear on YouTube. He immediately declined, but knowing Sung-jae's character well, Soo-bin mentioned Sang-cheol's kindness, which swayed his heart. After learning that Ji-wan was unemployed, Sung-jae called him separately to address Ji-hyuk's family issues.
Towards the end of the broadcast, Eun-oh, who asked Oh Soo-jung for a blind date to forget Ji-hyuk, recalled her cold response to Sung-jae and felt a late sense of regret. Ji-hyuk, who came to Seoul for work, felt humiliated as he had to hide upon accidentally seeing Eun-oh. Sung-jae, who visited a café, directly asked Eun-oh, “Eun-oh, what do you think of me?” marking the beginning of the love triangle.
