Season 4's Youngsoo and Jeongsook faced a crisis from the first day of their trip to India.

On the 15th, the SBS Plus and ENA entertainment program ‘Cooking and Traveling’ (hereafter ‘Cooking and Traveling’) aired the extreme travel experiences of Season 4's Youngsoo and Jeongsook alongside Season 10's Youngsik and Baekhap.

On that day, after settling into their accommodation in India, Season 10's Youngsik and Baekhap went out to buy bottled water at a nearby mart before heading out for dinner. Youngsik, who prefers not to eat street food, chose a restaurant after much deliberation and ordered a generous amount of chicken curry and butter naan.

Around the same time, Season 4's Youngsoo and Jeongsook also went to a restaurant recommended by locals, where they coincidentally ran into Youngsik and Baekhap. However, Youngsoo and Jeongsook only exchanged brief greetings with them before moving to a nearby indoor restaurant.

At the restaurant, Youngsoo said, “Just follow me and enjoy,” exuding a charming vibe. Jeongsook responded, “I’m suspicious. It seems like you’re aiming for a big picture of meeting a good woman and getting married,” to which Youngsoo emphasized, “I’m just thinking about how to make this trip fun,” and Jeongsook exclaimed, “Let’s do half of what we each want. But no planes or trains!”

As disagreements about the travel plans arose, the ordered meals were served, changing the atmosphere. Youngsoo kindly served food onto Jeongsook's plate. Jeongsook then laughed, saying, “Why do I feel like your gaze is more burdensome than before?” In the midst of the pink atmosphere, Youngsoo remarked, “We didn’t break up badly like the other couples on ‘Cooking and Traveling,’” and added, “So we need to exercise some restraint.”

Youngsik and Baekhap also enjoyed the Indian cuisine while having sweet conversations. They discussed their individually planned itineraries, and Youngsik was touched to see that Baekhap, who is ‘P (spontaneous),’ had considered him, ‘J (planner),’ by creating a detailed travel plan.

Baekhap replied, “I rely on you because I struggle with communication (in English). I feel like I can handle the rest better,” to which Youngsik praised, “I feel a lot of charm. You’re much better than I thought.”

Baekhap expressed her fondness for Youngsik, saying, “You don’t have any little brother vibes. You feel like a man.” Youngsik confessed, “The feelings I had for you in Sokcho (the filming location of ‘Nasol Sagae’) weren’t temporary,” and Baekhap agreed, saying, “It feels like an extension of (‘Nasol Sagae’).”

Meanwhile, after their meal, Youngsoo and Jeongsook showcased their playful chemistry while tasting ‘India’s national snack.’ Later, back at their accommodation, they discussed their travel plans, with Youngsoo criticizing Jeongsook’s itinerary, saying, “Rest after visiting temples, then rest after visiting cafes? Is this what you call a schedule?” He then suggested visiting famous Indian sites like Udaipur, the Taj Mahal, and the Ganges River.

Jeongsook was shocked by Youngsoo’s plan, which involved taking both a plane and a train, and Youngsoo expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, “What’s the purpose of this trip? We came all the way to India…” After a moment of contemplation, Youngsoo said, “If you say you don’t want to do anything, then we’ll have to travel separately.”

Jeongsook took a strong stance, saying, “Even if it means abandoning my planned course, I don’t want to go to all the places you suggested.” Eventually, Youngsoo proposed a compromise: “Let’s either go to two places excluding the Ganges River or just go to the Ganges River.”

Jeongsook revealed her fears about the Ganges River, a place where many people’s funerals are held, and the Taj Mahal, a wonder of the world that is also a palace-shaped tomb, saying, “There could be unforeseen accidents. Yet you don’t have any concerns about my professional worries. This is probably why couples go on honeymoon trips and end up divorced,” she lamented. She then added, “Anyway, if we go to two out of the three places you want, I’m fulfilling 70% of your wishes,” to which Youngsoo replied, “Thank you for fulfilling 70%. I’ll do my best,” regaining his smile.

Back at their accommodation, Baekhap and Youngsik continued their ‘compliment battle’ even in bed. When Baekhap asked Youngsik to lower the air conditioning temperature, he jumped out of bed, and when she was bothered by the ticking of the clock, he took the clock off the wall and removed the batteries. He also declared himself Baekhap’s ‘guardian angel,’ saying, “If you have any discomfort, just tell me! I’ll solve it all.”

On the other hand, Jeongsook, who lay in bed but couldn’t fall asleep easily, exclaimed, “Ah! I’m hot!” and left the room. When she returned a while later, Youngsoo scolded her, saying, “Didn’t you know you’d be uncomfortable and unable to sleep? You’re keeping someone from sleeping!”

Jeongsook shot back, “Then you go alone!” She then complained, “I think I’m going to get aphasia,” to which Youngsoo snapped, “What important thing did you say that would cause aphasia?”

Eventually, when Jeongsook shed tears, Youngsoo remarked, “Is this something to cry about?” and left the room. Immediately after, Jeongsook told the production team, “I’m grateful for the things that went wrong between us. I realized it was a blessing.”

In the preview that followed, unlike the disastrous first night, a cheerful scene of Youngsoo and Jeongsook was captured, and Baekhap was seen being asked for photos by Indians everywhere, exclaiming, “I’m the Oksoon of India!” which heightened curiosity for the next broadcast.

The ‘crisis-ridden’ trip to India of Season 4's Youngsoo and Jeongsook, along with Season 10's Youngsik and Baekhap, will continue on the upcoming episode of ‘Cooking and Traveling’ airing on the 22nd at 8:40 PM.
