Moon Won, the fiancé of Koyote member Shinji, has taken a stand against online trolls.
On the 16th, Moon Won posted on his social media, “Malicious and false information has begun to spread like wildfire, causing many people to suffer. Therefore, I intend to take legal action,” along with a statement from his legal representative, law firm DLG.
The legal representative stated in the announcement, “Since the news of Mr. Moon Won and Ms. Shinji's marriage became known, false information has been indiscriminately spread across online communities, social media, and YouTube, and baseless speculation and sensational content related to this have been continuously proliferating.”
They continued, “In particular, some users have repeatedly sent severe insults and personal attacks to Mr. Moon Won's personal social media account, resulting in serious mental distress.”
The legal representative added, “On August 5, 2025, we filed a criminal complaint against the authors of certain serious matters on behalf of Mr. Moon Won, and our law firm will respond firmly if any further acts of spreading false information and creating malicious content are confirmed.”
Last month, Shinji announced her relationship and marriage with Moon Won simultaneously. However, various allegations about Moon Won, including ‘bullying during school and military years,’ ‘premarital pregnancy with his ex-wife,’ ‘three name changes,’ and ‘real estate fraud,’ have emerged online.
In response, Moon Won acknowledged the points regarding operating without a real estate license and marrying due to premarital pregnancy with his ex-wife, but denied all other allegations. As public opposition to their marriage continued, Shinji expressed her feelings, saying, “We are not getting married immediately, and it’s still a long way off, so please watch over us slowly.”
