On 'I Live Alone', Jeon Hyun-moo has taken the first step in his 'Filial Piety 5-Year Project' after about two years.
In the episode aired on the 15th, the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone' depicted Jeon Hyun-moo planning to move from his 6 billion won Gangnam apartment to Gimpo, closer to his family home.
On this day, Jeon Hyun-moo revealed his moving plans to Gimpo, saying, “I think I will start the first step of the Filial Piety 5-Year Project that I ambitiously declared two years ago,” announcing the long-awaited beginning of the 'Filial Piety 5-Year Project'. Jeon Hyun-moo, who has always dreamed of living in a country house with a garden, went out to find his 'dream house' himself.
Jeon Hyun-moo contacted Kim Sook, a resident of Gimpo, and Baekga, who currently lives in Gimpo, to seek advice and visited Baekga's house. Jeon Hyun-moo was satisfied with the mountain view that filled Baekga's yard and windows, saying, “The first thing I liked was the greenery. Looking at the grass is healing, and watching the birds must be happy, right?” In response, housing experts Park Na-rae, Ki, and Code Kunst burst into laughter, saying, “Let’s see it for two weeks.”
As Jeon Hyun-moo began his house-hunting in earnest, he admired a house with an open rooftop view, saying, “I guess I was hoping for an open view in my own space.” He was captivated by the outdoor space that matched his taste and excitedly made various interior plans, even naming it 'Mooomo Cathedral', bringing laughter.
After a tiring house-hunting, Jeon Hyun-moo had a feast at a recommended restaurant by Kim Sook and called his mother to share his filial piety plans. His mother welcomed the sudden moving plans, saying, “It’s reassuring and nice to have you around. I’m not against it, but I’m worried it might be hard for you.” However, with Jeon Hyun-moo's 'flaming filial piety', she opposed, saying, “No. If you’re there, we’ll go. You shouldn’t have a hard time.”
Regretting, “Why did I say it would be hard for me?” Jeon Hyun-moo expressed his sincere wish to “return a life just for my mom” and sent a video message to his mother. It remains to be seen whether Jeon Hyun-moo can realize both his dream and filial piety through his conversation with his mother.
Meanwhile, 'I Live Alone' airs every Friday at 11:10 PM.
