It has been revealed that broadcaster Im Seong-hoon's son is PD Im Hyung-taek.
On the 13th, the tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block' featured the national MC Im Seong-hoon, who is celebrating his 50th anniversary in broadcasting.
Im Seong-hoon, who has been broadcasting without a break for 50 years, said, "I have many regrets towards my family," and shared, "My eldest son raised his hand when asked, 'Is there anyone who has never been to the sea?'"
He mentioned that the next day, he had a shoot on the East Coast, so he first sought permission from the broadcasting station and took his family to see the sea for the first time.
Im Seong-hoon added, "My eldest son even took his first flight when he was a freshman in college, and he was saying things like, 'I’m finally taking off' while holding a camcorder," which drew laughter.

In the midst of this, Yoo Jae-suk revealed, "That eldest son is none other than Im Hyung-taek, who directed 'Running Man'." Yoo Jae-suk added humorously, "If I had known this story, Hyung-taek would have treated me a little better."
Additionally, Yoo Jae-suk shared a special connection with Im Seong-hoon, saying, "He is the one who debuted me," referring to Im Seong-hoon hosting his debut project, the '1st College Comedy Festival' in 1991.
PD Im Hyung-taek graduated from Korea University and joined SBS as a PD, directing shows like 'Running Man', 'Inkigayo', 'Family Outing', 'People Who Find Laughter', and 'Master Key'. He left SBS in 2022 and moved to LG U+.
