A fierce debate unfolds between single men and married men on ‘Let’s Go (가보자고)’.
In the second preview video of episode 7 of season 5 of the MBN entertainment program ‘Let’s Go’ airing on the 16th, single man Kim Seung-woo raised the ‘fake halo theory’ towards married men Ahn Jung-hwan, Cho Hyun-jae, and Jung Eun-pyo, drawing attention.
MC Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee meet with the four historical drama actors Kim Seung-soo, Lee Min-woo, Cho Hyun-jae, and Jung Eun-pyo to discuss, and they hear about Cho Hyun-jae's first meeting with his wife, a former pro golfer. Cho Hyun-jae revealed, “A close brother was supposed to give me a golf field lesson, and I was going to invite a pro, but that person had difficulties, so I urgently asked the person who is now my wife.”
Upon hearing this, the MCs asked, “Did you fall in love at first sight?” and Cho Hyun-jae responded, “When I first saw my wife, there was a halo around her. So, I thought for 2 weeks whether to contact her or not before I called,” revealing his cautious personality and surprising everyone.
Then, Kim Seung-soo said to the married men, “I want to hear honest stories. When men drink together, they often say, ‘The moment I saw her, I felt like I wanted to marry her.’ But I don’t have anyone like that around me. They say that to make their wives think of them as their destined man,” raising laughter with the fake halo theory.
In response, married man Ahn Jung-hwan said, “It doesn’t shine like in the movies, but it feels soft and glowing,” affirming its truth, and Cho Hyun-jae also replied, “I couldn’t see anything else; only this person sparkled.” Jung Eun-pyo also stated, “I don’t look anywhere else; I only see this person,” proving his romantic side.
Ahn Jung-hwan continued, “(However) I think it’s a lie to say, ‘I have to marry this person’ when you first meet,” and both Cho Hyun-jae and Jung Eun-pyo agreed, saying, “I think so too,” and “Those feelings develop during the process of getting to know each other,” sharing honest stories from married men.
Meanwhile, ‘Let’s Go’ season 5 is a nationwide housewarming tour program where Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee visit special and meaningful places, such as a friend’s house or workplaces that best showcase the person, to share life stories. It airs on the 16th at 8:20 PM.
