Actress Seo Hyorim reported on the damage caused by the heavy rain.
On the 5th, Seo Hyorim posted a video titled 'The Final Showdown with the Pride of Tree Cutting!' on her YouTube channel.
In the early part of the video, Seo Hyorim is seen enjoying a peaceful daily life with her parents, husband, and daughter while tending to a vegetable garden at their villa in Gapyeong. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat and comfortable clothes, she appeared cheerful as she planted eggplants with her daughter.
However, towards the end of the video, a completely different atmosphere was depicted. It showed the damage from the heavy rain in Gapyeong on the 20th of last month. At that time, the Gapyeong area experienced over 70mm of rain per hour, causing roads and houses to be flooded, along with casualties.
The released video included fallen trees, a muddy driveway, and a damaged gate. With the damage to the vehicle being significant, Seo Hyorim expressed her frustration, saying, "How could this happen? I'm going crazy."
Meanwhile, Seo Hyorim married Jeong Myung-ho, the son of actress Kim Soo-mi and the CEO of Morning Glory F&B, in 2019, and they have one daughter. Seo Hyorim's mother-in-law, Kim Soo-mi, passed away last October.
