Actor Hyun Bong-sik shared how he became interested in acting.
On the 5th, SBS’s ‘Whenever I Have a Chance’ featured guests Kim Sung-kyun and Hyun Bong-sik.
On this day, Hyun Bong-sik mentioned that he had never learned acting, saying, “I started acting at the age of 30.” He revealed that before his debut, he worked various jobs including delivery, freight, and rice supply.
Hyun Bong-sik surprised everyone by saying he became interested in acting while receiving training as an installation technician for S Electronics. He explained, “We did a role-play about customer service. I played the role of a difficult customer. The audience found it very entertaining, and I also enjoyed it. When I came down from the stage, I felt a bit regretful. I thought, ‘Actors make a living doing this. They must be really happy.’ That’s when I decided I wanted to do something I love.”
Meanwhile, ‘Whenever I Have a Chance’ airs every Tuesday at 9 PM.
