MC Jeon Hyun-moo experiences the power of architecture, feeling as if he has become a king.

In the second episode of MBC's cultural program "Reasoned Architecture - Space Traveler," airing on July 29 at 9 PM, Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Sun-young, and Jung Young-han, who are senior and junior announcers, come together for an architectural journey. The episode will feature a journey to explore the legacies left by Kim Soo-geun, a first-generation architect known for designing Korea and as the architect of light and brick.

Jeon Hyun-moo draws attention by introducing the masterpiece of Kim Soo-geun, Kyungdong Church, located in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. With its unique exterior, Kyungdong Church captivates viewers with an atmosphere that is entirely different from what one typically imagines a church to be. Following Jeon Hyun-moo's guidance, Park Sun-young and Jung Young-han focus on the fact that Kyungdong Church lacks "three things that should be in a church." The absence of these three elements makes Kyungdong Church even more beautiful and creates a reverent atmosphere, leading to admiration. This raises curiosity about what the "three absences" intended by architect Kim Soo-geun might be.

At Kyungdong Church, Jeon Hyun-moo becomes fascinated by Kim Soo-geun's signature material, "red brick," and picks up a camera. As a "Muto-grapher," Jeon Hyun-moo sparks curiosity by saying, "There’s a reason I’m taking it from this angle," and passionately captures the red bricks in an unusual pose. He expresses, "It’s not lacking compared to anything abroad," indicating his deep admiration for Kyungdong Church and the red bricks, drawing attention to his new work as a "Muto-grapher" taken at this location.

Moreover, Jeon Hyun-moo also takes on the role of "Mu Hyun-jun," aiming for the spot of architect Yoo Hyun-jun, following his "Muto-grapher" title. He showcases his architectural knowledge to Park Sun-young and Jung Young-han, jokingly expressing concern, "If I say all this, Professor Yoo Hyun-jun will have nothing to say in the studio," which brings laughter.

Meanwhile, Jeon Hyun-moo has a unique experience at the Namsan Freedom Center (formerly the Korean Freedom Federation), an early work that introduced architect Kim Soo-geun. The design, which incorporates authority, hierarchy, and grandeur into the building's structure, overwhelms everyone, and standing at the center, Jeon Hyun-moo shares, "I felt like a king. It was quite thrilling at that moment." Yoo Hyun-jun explains, "That’s the power of space," raising curiosity about what architectural reasoning might have been behind it.

The "Kim Soo-geun Architectural Journey," which offers different feelings from each building and captivates Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Sun-young, and Jung Young-han, can be seen in the second episode of MBC's "Reasoned Architecture - Space Traveler," airing on July 29 at 9 PM.
