Popular singer Hwasa revealed her honest views on dating, stating, "I am currently single."
On the 5th, a video titled "Han Hye-jin X Hwasa | Can Yeoeunpa Date This Year..?" was uploaded to Park Na-rae's YouTube channel 'Naraesik'.
In this video, 'Yeoeunpa' members Han Hye-jin and Hwasa joined Park Na-rae. Park Na-rae started by saying, "Sister Han Hye-jin should go first; there's an order," and Hwasa actively supported her by saying, "I cheer for the sisters' dating."
When Park Na-rae expressed her wish for a couple's gathering, Hwasa responded, "Will that day come? Aren't we all three single?"
This marks the first dating-related comment since the dating rumors that surfaced last June. At that time, reports claimed that Hwasa was in a relationship with a businessman 12 years her senior for five years, and her agency stated, "It is difficult to confirm the artist's private life."
Park Na-rae continued, "Surprisingly, Hwasa also said she wanted to get married early," to which Hwasa confidently replied, "In Korea, there is a conservative atmosphere regarding idol marriages. My dream is to break those norms."
She added, "Rihanna and Beyoncé perform even while pregnant. They are viewed simply as artists, and I hope Korea can also be more free in that regard."
