"Leaving Home Means Dog Luxury" concluded its dog kindergarten operation with Jeon Hyun-moo serving a special course meal for the dogs at their one and only graduation ceremony.
In the episode aired on the 27th, the JTBC entertainment program "Leaving Home Means Dog Luxury" celebrated the last day of "Dog Luxury Kindergarten" with "Director Mu" Jeon Hyun-moo presenting a special course meal.
To make dog-friendly tteokbokki, Jeon Hyun-moo received help from the top instructor Kang So-ra of "Sky Dog School," who excels at everything. Kang So-ra, who was responsible for preparing the ingredients and handling the chicken breast for the tteokbokki, eventually scolded Jeon Hyun-moo, who was just looking at the instructions, saying, "You're not doing anything, just looking at the instructions." Although Jeon Hyun-moo hesitated at his first baking challenge, he ultimately completed a hotel-grade cake, maintaining the dignity of the director.
Finally, all the dogs from the "Small and Medium Dog Class" including Bami, Hodoo, Kim Yul, Teto, and Story, as well as the "Large Dog Class" including Lotto, Noel, Kenny, Udo, Leo, and Hannah gathered for the "Dog Luxury Kindergarten" graduation ceremony. As the ceremony began, Jeon Hyun-moo prepared dog-friendly jajangmyeon all by himself. While preparing a large quantity alone, he expressed his anxiety, saying, "My work speed is too slow; this is a big problem. It feels like a 'real-life experience'." The busy preparation of the dog jajangmyeon was finally presented to the dogs, and the food-loving Hodoo created a hilarious scene even before the jajangmyeon was served.
While the dogs enjoyed their meal, Jeon Hyun-moo also prepared and served "human" jajangmyeon for the owners. As the dogs eyed their owners' jajangmyeon, teachers Kang So-ra, Jo Han-sun, Park Sun-young, and Ray, along with trainers Kim Hyo-jin and Kim Sung-jin, took care of them so that the owners could also enjoy a happy feast.
Jeon Hyun-moo delivered a heartfelt speech filled with regret, saying, "It feels like just yesterday that they enrolled, but a lot of time has passed. They say dogs can only dream of what they have experienced, and I tried to give them many experiences. I can't say it was perfect, but there has definitely been progress, and it's all thanks to you who entrusted them to us."
Following that, the passionate Kang So-ra expressed, "It was tough, but the dogs gave me comfort and strength. I'm so grateful and love them," calling out each friend's name. Park Sun-young shared, "I hope the children have good memories from this experience, showing them what unconditional and selfless love is, making them smile," expressing her own regrets.
As the teachers concluded their greetings, trainer Kim Hyo-jin read a letter written to Park Sun-young. Despite having severe dog allergies, Park Sun-young dedicated herself to the dogs, going back and forth to the hospital. She also made a heartfelt effort to help Lotto, a timid rescue dog, leading to a touching transformation.
In response, Kim Hyo-jin expressed, "I have come to respect you as someone who is currently working in the field. I believe that 'education is more about the heart than the skill,' and I thank you for showing us education that conveys that sincerity," bringing tears to everyone's eyes.
The main dish of the special course meal, dog-friendly tteokbokki, filled the dogs once again, and they all watched the graduation video edited by Jo Han-sun. The video was filled with memories created together, from the first day of school to maze games, music play, and art activities. Watching the video, Kang So-ra eventually burst into tears, saying, "I received more from the kids than I expected. I feel regret that I couldn't give as much as I thought."
Finally, Jeon Hyun-moo presented diplomas and graduation albums documenting the dogs' daily lives to all the dogs, concluding the event. The graduation ceremony of the one and only "Dog Luxury Kindergarten" ended with Jeon Hyun-moo blowing out the candles on the "dog cake" he made during his first baking challenge.
