Kim Young-in played the role of Shim Young in the drama 'Era of the Outlaws'. At that time, he gained attention for the line "I can't believe I'm a eunuch." Kim Young-in revealed that he is living alone and has semi-divorced his wife. He said, "After getting married, we lived together, but due to personality differences and high expectations leading to disappointment, we ended up in a semi-divorce."
