He confessed, "Recently, while going through various situations, I felt mentally exhausted and tired. Spending a lot of time with my family made me reflect on the meaning of family. I had a vague desire to 'build my own family that supports each other' someday. During this time, I confirmed my feelings with a precious relationship I've known for a long time, and we decided to become one family."

Lee Min-woo also said, "From debuting as Shinhwa to going through passionate teenage, twenties, and thirties, I have been fortunate to receive overflowing love and support from Shinhwa Changjo for a long time. Thanks to Shinhwa Changjo, who always supported me with warm encouragement and love, I was able to find the courage to take another step forward. There were tough times, but I have been happy every single moment living as Lee Min-woo on stage."
He added, "There will be changes in my life ahead, but I promise to continue my activities as Lee Min-woo, meeting Shinhwa Changjo with the love of my family and Shinhwa Changjo as my driving force, both on stage and anywhere else."
Lee Min-woo debuted in 1998 as a member of Shinhwa and has been actively working as a solo artist recently. He performed in the musical 'Les Misérables' last year and recently held his first solo exhibition. He is currently appearing on KBS2's variety show 'Salim Nam 2.'
